Corruption is one of the high priority topics in the UN crime prevention programme. In 2008-2009, HEUNI carried out a project on corruption on the Finnish – Russian border. In 2010, an anti-corruption training programme targeting the Russian civil servants in the criminal justice system is being developed. HEUNI also has a permanent representative in the Finnish national high level working group on corruption.
