Background information

HEUNI, together with the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (BRÅ) have received a grant from the Scandinavian Research Council for Criminology to carry out a study on irregular influences at judges and prosecutors in Finland and Sweden. The work was carried out over the year 2008, and is to be reported in 2009.

The Finnish country report was finished in 2009. The report will be published by the end of the year. A summary report of the comparison between Finland and Sweden will also be prepared during the autumn 2009.
