Background information

In September 2008 HEUNI signed a contract with the European Commission/ EUROSTAT concerning the piloting of the European crime victimisation survey (translating and testing a victimisation survey module). The work will be carried out in co-operation with Statistics Finland and the University of Helsinki.

Project timetable

Phase 1 (translation of the questionnaire) and phase 2 (final research plan and preliminary laboratory testing) completed.  For phase 3 (pilot study and reporting the results) estimated completion in March  2010.
