Participating in comparing the crime levels in European countries is one of HEUNI’s tasks. The results of the United Nation’s Crime Trends Surveys (UN-CTS) have been published in our Report Series. HEUNI has also participated in the work of the European Sourcebook-group. The representatives of HEUNI have also been involved in the expert group of Eurostat to develop comparable crime statistics across Europe.
